Our Story

We believe God has called us, in increasing measure, to be:

A Centre of His Presence

A church centred on the worship of God, where each person can experience the reality of His presence in their lives.

A Community of His People

A family of believers committed to godly friendships, spiritual formation, and intentional discipleship across generations.

A Channel of His Purpose

A people who serve as channels of God’s grace and mercy to those in our lives, and to those He has tasked us to minister to.

Our Story of God's Faithfulness:

1990's

1998: We began as a church-planting initiative by Barker Road Methodist Church, Wesley Methodist Church, and Aldersgate Methodist Church as Preaching Point @ ACS (Independent) on Easter.

1999: First-ever Church Camp as Preaching Point @ ACS (Independent) held at YWCA Fort Canning Lodge.

2000's

2003: On 20 April 2003, Living Waters Methodist Church was constituted as the 18th Local Conference under the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC).

LWMC inaugurated the SPRinGS WSCS. We chose the name SPRinGS as we hope to be Sisters Praying and Rejoicing in God's Service.

2004: God opened the doors for us to start our ministry in the Institute of Mental Health, ministering to staff and residents.

2010's

2016: Our Youth Ministry was started with about 9 youths. Over the years, we have grown to have more than 60 youths. Praise God!

2017: On 28 April 2017, our regular corporate prayer and worship meeting, named Hour of Power was born.

2018: Our Youth Ministry began our partnership with the Boarding School to have a New Scholars’ Orientation programme.

2020's

2021: On-site church services resumed after the pandemic.

2025: Our missions committee started our regular mission trips to Batam.

2026: Emerging ministries are birthed, namely the Young Adults Ministry and Chinese Ministry to meet the rising needs of these specific groups.
