Rev Khoo Kay Huat
Pastor-in-Charge
"I'm excited about what the Father wants to do in us and through us as we journey together."
Dramatically saved as a teenager, Kay Huat sensed God's call into pastoral ministry and has never really looked back. Since entering full-time ministry in 2005, he's been passionate about helping people encounter the Father's love and discover who God created them to be.
He loves seeing people grow in faith and step into their calling, especially the next generation. He believes the Church is poised for depth, growth and revival, and is continually asking how Living Waters can become that kind of community.
Before joining Living Waters, Kay Huat served in several Methodist churches and continues to be involved in mentoring, leadership development and the wider Methodist community. While those experiences have shaped him, his greatest joy remains journeying alongside people and seeing lives transformed by Jesus.
Away from ministry, you'll probably find him enjoying a good cup of coffee, exploring new technology, writing, or cheering on Manchester United (often with more hope than results). He and his wife Rachel have a son, James, and treasure doing life together as a family.
